Tom Sagar & Steve Holcombe, David Knight returns to form.

The sands of Lossiemouth are a long way from the bluff forests of Yorkshire and the journey suited Tom Sagar who won the first day of the 2nd round of the ACU Edmondson Racing British Enduro Championship at Helmsley.

The weather was good but the forecast was bad. David Knight overcame his health issues to finish 2nd. Danny McCanney was 3rd despite the extreme moment on the Extreme Test.

Championship leader Jamie McCanney was 4th and Joe Wootton was 5th. Steve Holcombe started well setting the fastest times on both tests but he dropped the bike and half a minute on test 5 to finish 6th. Swiss scientists are considering replacing the ceasium atomic clock with Daryl Bolter for reliable timekeeping. He was 7th. Under 23s Lee Sealey, Jack Edmondson and Rob Johnson completed the top 10.

Joe Chambers got his best result so far with a win in the Experts. Jake Subachus was 2nd and Luke Flack was 3rd. Dan Mundell was the best Clubman and Jordan Ridgway was the runner up. Jamie "Chipper" Jenkins won the Vets. Rhian George liked the course so much she rode it twice and she still won the Ladies class, On Day 2 the rain arrived. Steve Holcombe reveled in the wet conditions and he won the day. Danny McCanney was 2nd and David Knight was 3rd.

Joe Chamber posted a double win. Luke Flack was runner up and Kip Herring was 3rd. There were also double wins for Jamie Jenkins (veterans), Gavin Johnson (O50) and Rhian George (Ladies). Nathan Ball was the best Clubman and Alex Walton had no repeat of his disastrous Day 1 3rd test to take the runner up. As the condition deteriorated the organisers reasonably decided to finish early. Jamie McCanney maintained his lead on the Championship with 64 pts, Danny McCanney and Steve Holcombe are tied for 2nd with 62pts and Tom Sagar is 4th with 61pts.
