[FRANCIA] 8^ PROVA CAMPIONATO ENDURO FRANCIA A ST CIRGUES 30 AGOSTO 2014

France Enduro Championship - St. Cirgues-In-Mountain (Sunday)

Mission accomplished for the Moto Club du Plateau Ardéchois which for its organization of a third round of Championship of France, has once again proved the legitimacy of such an event in the heart of sumptuous regional National Park of the Ardèche Mountains. We still saw what the craze popular weekend that is created around these races. And if this test was more challenging for the drivers (as reflected in their faces at the finish), it was unanimously considered as one of the finest of the season.
Encouraged by a large audience, the pilots still offered a great show, great battles, which show another victory tenors Christophe Nambotin and Pela Renet respectively E1 and E2, an Antoine Basset with its fine doubled GasGas E3, and the young Maëlig Bron-Fontanaz who wins first victory in junior.

-category E1:

Christophe Nambotin (KTM) still sign a win today and it lacks a handful of points before you can get a new title of champion of France. Unless big problem, it should be sacred in the first day to the final Ambert. For runners, it's a different story. The fight for the podium was very close again. Marc Bourgeois (Yamaha) turned in the lead after the first round with a few seconds ahead of its competitors. Domination short-lived as it is alternately Anthony Boissiere (Sherco-Pulsion) and Loic Larrieu (Husqvarna) who then occupied the site. In the end, it's Loic Larrieu that accesses the second step, signing a very good last lap. Boissiere was third. Off the podium, Marc Bourgeois conceded 4 points Larrieu, but still retains his second place in the provisional with 5 points ahead.
Note the return this weekend of a pilot who has long informed the France Championship Enduro, Benoit Fortunato. On a Yamaha 125, he finished a very respectable fifth place.

E1 championship standings

- 1 / Christophe Nambotin - 152 Pts
- 2 / Marc Bourgeois - 123 Pts
- 3 / Loïc Larrieu - 118 Pts

E2-category:

Metronome, Pierre-Alexandre Renet wins each of the special day by digging even further the gap that separates it from its competitors. It even applies easily in a non-scratch ranking, relegating Christophe Nambotin more than a minute, unheard of! A newcomer to the world of enduro, Greg Aranda has successfully entered. Although he did not mention the idea of the near future in this discipline, it is clear that he has the necessary qualities. For his first, and on a particularly difficult route, the Crossman rises on the third step of the podium today. He finished in about fifteen seconds of another Yamaha rider, Romain Dumontier. So it plays a good second day, as he is accustomed. He will this time not have to fight with Julien Gautier. The Sherco Impulse pilot has a bruised shoulder at the start of the second round and has never managed to be on the pace.

E2 championship standings

- 1 / Pierre-Alexandre Renet - 160 Pts
- 2 / Romain Dumontier - 128 Pts
- 3 / Julien Gauthier - 92 Pts

-category E3:

In E3, Antoine Basset began the day as he finished that yesterday, signing the best times in its class. A clear dominance in the first two rounds for the official Gasgas, which however will Jérémy Joly back on the last lap hard. A revival too late for the KTM rider who bows to 2 small seconds at the end of the final lap. Basset offers a nice double blow and consolidates his second place in the interim. Despite his disappointment, Jeremy Joly pocketed 17 points this weekend that allow it to consider a first national title E3 quite calmly. Manu Albepart (BETA) finished again in third place after being shoved in the first round by the TM Racing's Pierre Vissac.

E3 championship standings

- 1 / Jérémy Joly - 151 Pts
- 2 / Antoine Basset - 134 Pts
- 3 / Manu Albepart - 121 Pts

-category Junior:

Subscriber in third place in recent races, Maëlig Bron-Fontanaz (EEAT-Yamaha) announced yesterday its ambition is to finally search Junior. And it's done tonight. After dominating all day, it clearly requires more than 30 seconds ahead of Jeremy Carroll (Honda-EC2M) second. Like yesterday, it is the very long line that has been a justice. And this is the second round in this line, that Maëlig built his victory by taking this dramatic advance he held to the finish. He had promised Jeremy mirror, his recovering teammate to give him the win, it's done. Theo Bazerque (Sherco Academy) rises on the third step of the podium. Carpentier takes the lead in the provisional rankings and remains the best position to win the title. A respectively 6 and 11 points behind, and Bron-Bazerque Fontanaz can still dream for the title, but it will have to get the points victory in Ambert.

Ranking Junior Championship

- 1 / Jeremy Carpentier - 115 Pts
- 2 / Jeremy Mirror -110 Pts
- 3 / Theo Bazerque -109 Pts

Women-category:

First win of the season for the young Samantha Tichet. Long in the shadow of Geraldine Fournel, she made a superb season by shining on the world championship and the Championship of France. She is rewarded today, and at the same time offer a good win to its dynamic team, the Moto Club Lozérien. Geraldine Fournel (Sherco Academy) is second. It loses the opportunity to make a grand slam by claiming all the victories of the season, but largely keeps his hand on the title race. A podium would be enough to be titrated on the first day of the final in Ambert. Very good deal for Marion Gimbert (TM-Racing), which goes up again on the podium (3rd) dates back to the 4th place in the provisional, just 1 point Rossat Audrey (KTM) 's

Ranking female championship

- 1 / Géraldine Fournel - 157 Pts
- 2 / Samantha Tichet - 131 Pts
- 3 / Audrey Rossat - 99 Pts

-category Manufacturer:

The days are not alike. The manufacturer category today is won by Husqvarna. The craftsmen of this place are first Pierre-Alexandre Renet and Loïc Larrieu, respectively first and second in their class. KTM took second place and Yamaha on the podium. The interim, Husqvarna returns to second position, followed closely by one point Yamaha.

Manufacturer championship standings

- 1 / KTM - 297 Pts
- 2 / HUSQVARNA - 252 Pts
- 3 / YAMAHA - 251 Pts

There now remains only one event in the championship and none of the securities Elite has yet been awarded. This will wait for the finals to be held on 4 and 5 October this year in Ambert.
