I risultati della quinta giornata
Meo a Renet portano i transalpini ad un passo dalla vittoria. Problemi per l’Australia, l’Italia ora è terza.
World Trophy – Ormai manca davvero poco. Fin dal primo giorno di questa FIM ISDE 2013 era stato chiaro a tutti il valore della nazionale francese, che oggi forse ha portato l’attacco decisivo al titolo World Trophy 2013, forte di un Team davvero completo. Meo, leader della classifica assoluta, ha conquistato la prima posizione in ben 3 speciali su 6; ma la dimostrazione del valore dei transalpini è data dai risultati di Renet, secondo nell’ultima prova speciale (AIROH Olbia loc. Vena Fiorita) e terzo in altri 3 special test, e di Aubert, secondo nella 4° prova speciale (BARDAHAL Padru) e spesso a ridosso del podio nel resto della giornata. Dietro ai campioni in carica, l’Australia subisce una battuta d’arresto. Nonostante la vittoria di Daniel Milner nella prima speciale, gli australiani retrocedono infatti ai piedi del podio a causa di un problema alla moto di Glenn Kearney. Secondo posto per gli USA di Taylor Robert, e terzo gradino del podio per l’Italia, che ha potuto contare ancora una volta su un grande Alex Salvini. Messa da parte la sfortuna dei primi due giorni, Il Campione del Mondo in carica della classe E2 ha ripreso a marciare come aveva già fatto ieri, portandosi a casa la vittoria nella 2° e nella 4 ° prova speciale di giornata e arrivando comunque a podio negli altri special tests. Ora non resta che aspettare l’ultima sfida, l’Evento Finale EICMA, la finale di motocross prevista per domani a Tempio Pausania, dove tutti i piloti si sfideranno in manche da 40 partenti a partire dalle 10 per decretare i vincitori della FIM ISDE 2013.
Questa la classifica: Francia 20h 48’ 22’’, USA +14’ 19’’, Italia +17’ 59’’.
Junior World Trophy – Cambia la categoria ma non cambia la testa della classifica, con i francesi sempre primi. Anche oggi i transalpini hanno potuto contare sull’apporto del loro uomo migliore, quel Loic Larrieau che è riuscito ad arrivare 5° nella terza prova speciale e che mantiene la settima posizione nella classifica assoluta. Dietro i francesi troviamo ancora la Nazionale Italiana, l’unica che riesce ad avvicinarsi ai transalpini, e che ha avuto anche oggi in Giacomo Redondi il suo uomo migliore. Terzo posto confermato per la Gran Bretagna.

Women World Trophy – E’ sempre più Australia nel trofeo Woman. Il terzetto guidato da Jessica Gardiner è ormai saldamente in testa alla classifica, seguito dalla Svezia, che accusa però un ritardo di +12’ 26’’, e dalla Francia. Ancora un buon 5° posto, invece, per le ragazze italiane.
Classifica: Australia 9h 58’ 35’’, Svezia +12’ 26’’, Francia +33’ 04’’.
A fine giornata si è presentato ai microfoni Loic Larrieau: “Sono molto soddisfatto, sia di come sto andando io, visto che è il mio primo anno nell’enduo, sia del risultato di squadra. Domani poi sarà una grande giornata. Io vengo dal cross e non vedo l’ora di potermi misurare con tutti gli altri.”

World Trophy – It’ getting closer. Since day one of this FIM ISDE 2013 has been clear to everyone the value of French national, which perhaps led the decisive attack to the 2013 World Trophy title, with a Team truly complete. Meo, leading the overall classification, get first place in e special tests, but the demonstration of transalpine value is given by the results of Renet, second in the last special stage (AIROH Olbia. Floral vein) and third in 3 other special tests, and Aubert, second in the 4° special stage (BARDAHAL Padru) and often close to the podium in the rest of the day. Behind the French Campion, Australia had a break. Despite the victory of Daniel Milner in the first special tests, Australian team has been relegated to the bottom of the podium because of a problem with Glenn Kearney. Second place for the United States and the third step of the podium has been conquered by Italy, which has a great performance from Alex Salvini. Now it only remains to wait for the final challenge, EICMA Final Event, motocross Finals scheduled tomorrow on Tempio Pausania, where all drivers will struggle among themselves for FIM ISDE 2013 Trophy.

Junior World Trophy – Changes the category but does not change the head of the standings, with the French always first. Women World Trophy – Australia still on top in Woman trophy. The trio led by Jessica Gardiner is now firmly at the top, followed by Sweden, which has a delay of + 12’ 26’' from France. Still a good 5th place, however, for Italian girls.
