France Enduro Championship - Villebret (Saturday)

It is under the heavy heat of a beautiful July day that closes the first day of racing Villebret. ASM Villebret, Moto Club organizer, will have to draw on all its resources to succeed in organizing this wonderful race. A fight in the interim with Mika Barnes (KTM), it takes the ascendancy, the KTM pilot finishing 4th that. Confirmation of excellent speed rookie team of Army, Maëlig Bron-Fontanaz. France Enduro Championship - Villebret (Sunday)

Relief! It is the feeling that animated the volunteers ASM Villebret tonight. After two days of racing under pressure, the fault of a threatening weather and close monitoring of local authorities, the outcome is very positive. Everyone will have seen that with good will, hard work and a team of people responsible for the conduct of an enduro event of this magnitude is beneficial to all. This third round of the championship of France Enduro therefore proceeded smoothly. Even the rain fell in the night, will be spared the region today. Next race, we have seen many twists and turns with a new winner in E1, a mano-a-mano muscular E3 and even changes in the Junior podium. A little more quiet, the E2 class was the scene of a great battle between Gauthier and Dumontier.

Category E1:

This is definitely a weekend to forget for Christophe Nambotin (KTM). After his performance yesterday against-it falls and crushes the exhaust manifold in the first lap of the race, an incident that will cost him big in the sp3 seconds, before he could replace it. A delay that will fail to catch up, despite an excellent final round. He finished second of the day. The happiness of one often comes from the misfortune of others. His closest rival in the championship, Anthony Boissiere (Sherco Moto Pulsion) was unable to continue his great comeback, forced to retire with a mechanical problem. Place was free for a unique winner this season. This is Marc Bourgeois, the Yamaha rider, who found the highest step of the podium. Excellent weekend for him because he won in quick 2 places the provisional and now finds dolphin Christophe Nambotin with 17 points behind. Loïc Larrieu (Husqvarna) completed the podium E1.

E1 championship standings

  - 1 / Christophe Nambotin - 112 Pts

- 2 / Marc Bourgeois - 95 Pts

- 3 / Loïc Larrieu - 88 Pts

  Category E2:

On the last lap yesterday Pela Renet was impressed with exceptional chrono below 6 minutes in line. It is precisely in this special he did the most harm to its competitors systematically relegating more than 15 seconds. He needed more than one minute ahead in the end. Behind him, the fight was organized between Julien Gauthier (Sherco - Moto Pulsion) and Romain Dumontier (Yamaha). They are followed throughout the day, and, as in Scaer is Dumontier which eventually dominates the Auvergne on the second day. With 17 points collected, it consolidates his second place in the provisional counting 34 points ahead of Gauthier, third income level on points with Pierrick Roncin (Beta).

E2 championship standings

- 1 / Pierre-Alexandre Renet - 120 Pts

- 2 / Romain Dumontier - 96 Pts

- 3 / Julien Gauthier / Pierrick Roncin - 62 Pts

  Category E3:

E3, lived a very uncertain day with Emmanuel Albepart (Beta) we know less comfortable the second day when the special deepens, and Jeremy Joly (KTM) revenge after losing yesterday . The two men are alternately passed and ironed turn to stand in the penultimate stage with a gap of 4/10. And it is this famous line that officiated their duel and said Jérémy Joly winner. Despite a broken finger, there Albepart ahead by more than 10 seconds and return to the path of victory, his fifth this season. The interim, Antoine Basset (GasGas), 3rd day, sees his second place threatened by the return of Albepart. It is no longer just 3 points away from him, promising an end exciting season.

E3 championship standings

- 1 / Jérémy Joly - 117 Pts

- 2 / Antoine Basset - 94 Pts

- 3 / Manu Albepart - 91 Pts

  Junior Category:

Jeremy victory Mirror (EEAT - Yamaha) in the junior, who now has a comfortable mattress 29 points ahead. What apprehend calmly rest of the season with a wildcard ahead of its competitors. Behind him, things happen. Theo Bazerque (Sherco Academy) forced to retire, sees Jeremy Carpentier him steal second place in the interim. A beautiful operation fast Honda rider EC2M also sees a big drop Mika Barnes (KTM) in SP7 (then second) to sign the 2nd place of the day. Barnes is third in the provisional, with 1 point ahead of Theo Bazerque. Still on the podium, Maëlig Bron-Fontanaz (EEAT-Yamaha) approaches are increasingly leading drivers in the standings. If the first place now seems difficult to get, 5 drivers are still able to fight for the runners.

Ranking Junior Championship

- 1 / Jérémy Mirror - 110 Pts

- 2 / Jérémy Carpentier -81 Pts

- 3 / Mika Barnes Pts -75

Women Category:

It takes the same and start again. It is still Géraldine Fournel right thing for girls. But this time, the representative of the Sherco Academy has had the more difficult task. Able to clinch all the times she has left this time 3 of 6 its competitors. It marks the 20 points of victory and it will now be very difficult to block his path to a new title. The story is quite different for second place. Samantha Tichet (Motorcycle Club Lozérien) finished second by 2 times and joined Juliet Berrez (Yamaha) in the provisional. A struggle that should continue during the last 2 events.

Ranking Championship Women

- 1 / Géraldine Fournel - 120 Pts

- 2 / Juliette Berrez - 94 Pts

- 2 / Samantha Tichet - 94 Pts

Category Manufacturer:

This is the shoehorn that KTM is today in the manufacturer category. A tie with Yamaha, the Austrian firm is required to less than 2 seconds cumulative time, thanks to the performance of Joly and NAMBOTIN (1st and 2nd E3 E1). At the top of the poster yesterday Sherco today suffers the harsh law of motorsport with two outs that are down in the standings.

Manufacturer championship standings

- 1 / KTM - 223 Pts

- 2 / YAMAHA - 191 Pts

- 3 / HUSQVARNA - 182 Pts

Mid-season is over and there is that apart and E2 in female, leaders will probably have to fight until the very last stage of the season to win the title. Good for suspense. The championship now resume its rights 30 and Aug. 31 next to Saint-Cirgues-en-Montagne in Ardèche.
