CAROLE (France) September 23, 2012 – Great day today for the Supermoto in Carole: it's Thomas Chareyre (TM Factory Racing) the one who gains the FIM Supermoto World Champion Title, his second Title in S1 class from 2010.

Thomas wins the Title by arriving once second and twice third in the three races of today, making calculations more than running for the first place. Thomas was not the only one to make this Sunday exciting and one of the most fought competition of the 2012 season: his brother Adrien Chareyre (APRILIA Fast Wheels), S1 World Champion 2011, has dominated the races with two victories and a second position, while the Finnish Mauno Hermunen (TM Shr) has tried his best to win the title and has arrived first, second and third in the three races of today.
On the podium of today the two French brothers Adrien and Thomas Chareyre are respectively first and third, with Hermunen between them.
Other riders have contributed to make today an exciting day, like the brand new European S2 Champion Petr Vorlicek (TM Shr) who has chosen to run in the S1 class for today and has arrived fourth before the Italian Max Verderosa (Honda HBV). Sixth position today for the Czech Pavel Kejmar (KTM Bauerschmidt), then - for the top ten - in order the Italian Ivan Lazzarini (HM Honda Racing), the Spanish Francesc Cucharrera (KTM), the Italians Teo Monticelli (HONDA Freccia) and Elia Sammartin (Suzuki Pergetti).

S1 1st RACE: The first race witnesses the Finnish Mauno Hermunen (TM SHR), second position in the standings, taking the holeshot followed by the French brothers Thomas (TM Factory Racing) and Adrien (APRILIA Fast Wheels), then the Czechs Pavel Kejmar (KTM Bauerschmidt) and Petr Vorlicek (TM SHR), the Italian Max Verderosa (Honda HBV), the Spanish Francesco Cucharrera (KTM), the Italians Fabrizio Bartolini (HM Honda Racing) and Christian Ravaglia (Ktm Miglio), the British Matthew Winstanley (TM SHR).
Three laps are enough to change the situation: Thomas and his brother Adrien Chareyre take their chance to pass in the leading positions, while a close contact makes Hermunen to lose control of his bike, which hits the curb hurting his ankle and loosing lots of positions. Adrien e Thomas Chareyre are ahead and there they remain until the end, while Hermunen tries his best and ends his race before the German Champion Kejmar, Verderosa, Vorlicek, Winstanley, Travnicek, Cucharrera and Lazzarini, who begun his race from the sixth position.

S1 2nd RACE: Holeshot for Mauno Hermunen (TM Shr),followed by Thomas Chareyre (TM Factory Racing), Adrien Chareyre (APRILIA Fast Wheels), Tomas Travnicek (HONDA), Petr Vorlicek (TM SHR), Massimiliano Verderosa (HONDA Hbv), Christian Ravaglia (KTM Miglio), Ivan Lazzarini (HM Honda Racing), Matthew Winstanley (TM SHR), Teo Monticelli (Honda Freccia). It is clear to everyone that this one is the race of the Finnish. Hermunen leads the group towards his first victory of today with his best timing 1'34.570 as well.
Behind him - new SM International Champion of the SHR Team - a change in positioning comes at only two laps from the end with Adrien Chareyre becoming second and his brother Thomas third, and so they remain until the finishing line trying their best to impress the audience.
Fourth position for the Italian Max Verderosa followed by Petr Vorlicek, Tomas Travnicek, Pavel Kejmar, Matthew Winstanley, Christian Ravaglia and Francesc Cucharrera, for the top ten. Ivan Lazzarini falls while trying to cross Christian Ravaglia.

S1 3rd RACE: Third holeshot today for the Finnish Mauno Hermunen (TM Shr), right behind him the French defending Champion Adrien Chareyre (APRILIA Fast Wheels), the Czech European Champion 2012 Petr Vorlicek (TM Shr), the French Championship Leader Thomas Chareyre (TM Factory Racing), the Italian nine times Champion Ivan Lazzarini (HM Honda Racing), the Spanish Francesc Cucharrera (Ktm), the Italian Max Verderosa (HONDA HBV), the Slovenian Uros Nastran (SUZUKI Lux Performance), the Italians Teo Monticelli (HONDA Freccia) and Elia Sammartin (SUZUKI Pergetti).
Adrien Chareyre (APRILIA Fast Wheels), Champion 2011, takes the leadership of the race at the fifth lap, well conscious that he can't gain the title or the second place in the Championship anymore but determined to gain the second victory for this season and to win the GP of France.
Second position for Hermunen, who has to accept also his second position in the World Championship 2012. Third position in the race for Thomas Chareyre who has tried to obtain, more than the victory of the race, enough points to win the title of World Champion S1 class for the second time after 2010.
Fourth position in the race for Petr Vorlicek followed by Ivan Lazzarini, Max Verderosa, Teo Monticelli, Elia Sammartin, Francesc Cucharrera, and Pavel Kejmar, in order for the top ten.
